One of the things that makes T2 Group such a great place to work is the flexibility of a remote workforce.  While we do have some positions that require on site work, we understand that in 2022, employees can be just as effective, if not more, working from their homes.  This allows us to hire great talent, not just in the Southern California region, but across the nation.  So, what are some of the things T2 Group does to promote a successful remote workforce?

T2 Group makes it a priority to hire individuals who are just as invested in their work as on-site employees.  Our recruitment team recognizes the importance of hard work, loyalty, and dedication when it comes to finding someone who will become part of our unique team.  Does this individual want to be part of our company because they are passionate about the work that they do?  Do their goals and values align with those of T2 Group?  Or do they just want the convenience of working from home?  Our recruitment team thoroughly screens potential candidates to make sure that anyone who joins our team has all of the above.  We want to provide the benefit of remote work, while also making sure our employees are dedicated to putting their best foot forward and showing us in the upstanding work that they do.

T2 Group sees the benefit in flexible schedules.  We understand that not everyone is in the same situation.  Some people have children, spouses, parents, pets, or a number of other obligations and that the typical 9-5 is not the ideal schedule for everyone.  While we do need to consider our clients’ needs, we do our best to understand and evaluate every employee’s needs when it comes to hours they prefer to work.  We asses if mornings, afternoons, or evenings are best and try to align the requests to the needs of our clients.  We want everyone to feel as comfortable as they can while they are at work.

We utilize the right technology.  T2 Group understands the importance of using the right technology when leading a successful remote workforce.  We utilize everything Microsoft, most frequently, Teams and Outlook.  We also find value in our HRIS system and our employee login system where we can post apps from Paychex to our phone answering system.  Most recently, T2 Group is working on creating a knowledge base where we can post any and all communications for our employees to stay informed.

T2 Group brings employees together regularly.  More than anything, T2 Group wants all of our employees to feel like they are part of the team.  We thrive on providing a space where even our remote employees can get to know one another and come together and have conversations, share updates about their personal lives, and have a good time at work.  We are always shining light on employees, updating everyone on engagements, marriages, promotions, birthdays, anniversaries and much more.  Everyday we put out what National Day it is and encourage everyone to weigh in on what’s going on around the world.  We support cross-brand communications and love to see our T2 Tech, T2 Flex, and T2 Labs employees all sharing their experiences with each other as one team.
